Magic Mozart

Is the world's first NFT collection to combine generative music from 1792, (yes, 1792, NOT 1972!) and generative art. Each NFT features 5 layers of original artwork inspired by Mozart's seminal opera "The Magic Flute", as well as a randomly generated musical selection "composed" by the buyer themselves!

Wesendonck lieder

"Whirling wheels of time STOP and let me be!" Our second musical NFT collection is Wagner's Wesendonck lieder. This song cycle is the precursor to Wagner's epic opera Tristan und Isolde, and takes listeners through an emotional journey exploring the fragility of love, the passing of time, and the highs and lows of human existence in just 20 minutes of heart pounding music.

Our interpretation will feature a brand new symphonic orchestration using both live and electronic instruments, interpreted by Soula Parassidis and recorded at the historic Ocean Way Studios in Nashville. NFT holders will also be invited to purchase a piece of music history in the final phase of this project.

Divina

"It's a very terrible thing to be Maria Callas, because it's a question of trying to understand something you can never really understand."

The Divina NFT collection explore themes around the realities of fame, celebrity culture, and the genius of Greek opera star Maria Callas. There are no words to accurately describe her impact on music, fashion, and art since her rise to stardom, so, we will use images.

Living Opera has partnered with the world's best digital and make up artists to transform Soula Parassidis into "La Divina" to recreate some of the most memorable images of the tragic diva.

About NFTs

1) What is an NFT

A non-fungible token (NFT) is a type of digital asset. Unlike fungible tokens, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, each NFT is unique and varies in some way. Popular examples include art and music NFTs, but they can also reflect contractual agreements over other physical assets, such as land or property.

2) Why are NFTs valuable

Every asset has a value and a price. The value is driven by fundamentals — or features of the asset that are broadly reflected as having real world utility and status — and the price can deviate from the value upwards or downwards based on expectations and beliefs in the market. In this sense, the value of the NFT depends on the underlying asset. But, broadly speaking, their value is rooted in the ability to tokenize ideas at the atomistic level, meaning that they create rivalry (i.e., if I have the NFT, you do not!) and exclusivity (i.e., by pricing the NFT, I can gate access to it).

3) How do you make money with NFTs

People can make money through NFTs in at least two ways. First, you can produce your own NFTs and sell them. You can either work with big marketplaces where anyone can upload an NFT (e.g., OpenSea), or smaller and more curated marketplaces (e.g., MakersPlace). Second, you can buy NFTs that you enjoy and believe in, hold them, and then sell when you think there's a trade worth making. In fact, our COO has been writing and presenting about how NFTs have the potential to democratize investing — as a creator, you can produce assets more easily and receive dividends on future trades, and as a buyer, you can identify assets you believe will appreciate in value and cash in.

4) What is the future of NFTs

The future of NFTs consists of limitless possibilities! No one can write the script now, but what's clear is that they will expand beyond art and music. We are excited about how NFTs have the potential to create markets where none have previously existed, thereby allowing buyers and sellers to find each other more easily and obtain value. Moreover, we believe NFTs will allow consumers to interact with brands in new and more experiential ways; gone are the days when the best a brand can do is offer a seasonal discount!
