ERIC WILSON 1927 – 2025

The Eric Wilson Prize for Singers celebrates the next generation of musical talent. Established to honour Eric Wilson’s enduring passion for music, the prize supports singers as they take their first steps onto the professional stage.

The prize is awarded each year to an artist who demonstrates exceptional vocal ability, artistic sensitivity, and the determination to build a career in opera. Reflecting Eric Wilson’s belief in both artistry and entrepreneurship, applicants are also asked to present a professional plan for their career development.

In addition to financial support, recipients gain visibility within the international opera community, opening doors to further study, mentorship, and engagements. The Eric Wilson Prize for Singers honors his legacy by helping artists cultivate both their voices and their vision.
